Hey guys

I work for a video game dev but also love to do my own projects for fun on the weekends. I'm working on something in source right now, well just getting started really. But I do need a skilled coder to help out, and I know they are hard to come by. As this project means alot to me, I'm willing to pay for someone’s talents, starting sometime in the new year.

The project is a remake of the playstaion 1 game Twisted metal 2, so knowing how to change the vehicle codes physics and handling is essential. Anyway shoot me a pm if you are interested and I’ll show you some of my credentials, so you know I'm for real. Thanks!

i've wanted to do a project like this for quite some time now , if you're willing to sacrifice a bit you could just contribute towards the community project instead its more or less the same concept.

I saw that, but I've got a pretty tight vision. I really want it to have the look and feel for TM2. That said I can't wait to see what they come up with.

are you planning on redoing the characters or are you going to come up with custom content ? , i'd love to play as axle or specter .

Oh yeah,

It will be a shameless remake, levels, music, cars, all remade for the modern engine. Sadly as time goes on, it looks like i'll have to go with unreal 3 rather then hl2 as some testing of vehicle code online as not produced good results. That, and it's much easier to get coders for uscript. Hl2 was just not made to have vehicles work online, but unreal is.

We might make one or two new cars and levels. I know sony will hate me for it but it's their fault for messing up my fav franchise, now I'm taking matters into my own hands :P
