Common BSPs and mp3s

Hello are there any map packs that are released all at once so i don't have to download while a game is going on - because normally the game has finished by the tmie ive downloaded the bsp (map file) and all the custom mp3s!

are there any popular map packs available to download for half life 2 original that would save me the hassle.

also are the 'dm' maps the ones that come with the retail version?
