Also worth noteing: Exclusive HL2: Ep. 1 screens... it's looking preety sweet, they got a hands on.

classes:
Recon
(cloaking ability, tracking device, emp grenades),
Support
(engineer, medic, engineers can deploy drones which fire on enemy infantry),
Anti-Tank
(will likely to able to fire missles to air/mechs and also launch missles to positions designated by Recon class players)
Assault
Get a badass gun, and grendes that double as proximity mines - as well as explode on contact when launched
Sniper
kills shit from long distances =o
Explosion effects revampted since BF2, Revamped squad systems: squad leaders can now place beacons from which fellow squad mates can spawn - these can be destroyed.
Physics system has been revamped as well, allowing for realistic mech style movements, and possibly be knocked over in certain circumstances, mechs sport anti tank weapons, anti personnel mini-guns on earch arm and of course the ability to squish other players underneath cold steel feet.
Artillery will of course, be back, Hoverships are now im place much like helicopters - gunships as well
Parachutes have been replaced by a technology Dice will not elaborate on.. they have stated however, that it is not jetpacks!
Features from BF2:SF have carried over such as grappleing hooks and different vision modes.
