Confused!!!!

What i want is very simple i think, but i just carnt get my head around it. Ive taken a shortcut of creating a combine shield by using a prefab HL2. But i need the shield to be turned off when someone shoots the power cable linked to the shield. But i carnt seem to do it. (The power cable is not in anyway linked to the shield its a different entry.ei Not parented)
 
outputs:

disable the trigger_multiple that triggers the buzzing sound
kill the func_brush that makes the shield itself (i.e. with the electro fx)
kill the playerclip func_brush that keeps the player out

assuming your power cable has a plug, simply attached the cable to the plug and shield, then make the plug a prop_physics. now make the prop_physics plug motion disabled and give it a damage value so when it's health drops below a certain point, it motion enables and sends the outputs listed above to the various ent. add in a power-down sound fx and maybe an explosion and env_spark around the plug triggered when it breaks and you're rocking and rolling
