Convert demo's to AVI or MPEG?

Any of you brilliant young minds out there know an easy way to turn your demo files into video files?

there is a way beter method then fraps
specially if u dont have a pc that powerful and still want to make high quality videos ...

examples:
http://hl2.digital-ambulance.com/gunship_small.avi <- 24mb
http://hl2.digital-ambulance.com/wm9_try_small.avi <- 8mb
http://hl2.digital-ambulance.com/striders_small.avi <- 30mb
(i apologize that the strider video is that bad quality, but its better then most of the other videos out there and there were only 30megs left on the ftp, so ...)

made on
2000+ athlond
512 mb ram
gf4 4200 64mb

you should see a thread also discussing source engine video making.

i had time as a clip was rendered.
