cool thing with the antlions

sorry if it's old news. there is a level where you are at a beach and antlions are chasing you on the buggy. i hopped off the buggy and went into the water and watched as the antlions tried to keep up,struggle to swim and eventuall die. just too cool (and creepy).

oh yeah, just finished the game and now i'm finally letting myself read posts in the spoiler section. what a great game this is.

ending was a bit anti climactic though, but getting there was some of the best gameplay i've experienced. bravo valve!

I thought it was pretty neat how they did that.. useful aswell cause they can be a bitch if your low on ammo and your buggy just turned over.

I freakin was having a good time until this one ant jumped on my car and stood on it attacking me and I tried getting in water but he just kept attacking :frog: ....

It's a bunch of "carnivorous leeches" that kill you if you go too deep in the water...valve's way of keeping you where they want you

they're the same leeches as in hl
they're a lot stronger, to say the least

oh yea i had forgotten about them from HL1... lol yea they got a little bit of an upgrade, I remember they used to only do like 1 damage.
