Copying Counterstrike

Hey everyone, I want to copy over all of CS:S so I can modify it but I am having difficulty doing so, any help would be appreciated.

I remember copying HL2M to fiddle with weapon settings as a little test.

Will CS:S not work like that? maybe the visual studio project is in SDK Content.
