Could this be a Hack or did I miss something?

recently I have been playing on oldfartsclub and oldfartsclub 2 Uncle sam servers they say there are VAC protected servers but recently I been noticing something a little strange
It might be me, it might be lag, I am hoping its a hack of some sort and not me

this is whats happening

a enemy forms before my eyes (he is red in the protected state) then all of a sudden he is turning around (so that they are facing Me) and changing weapons and then poof he has the perfect weapon to kill me and poof he is normal color and he kills me and carries on and I am at a distance from him
this has happened several time over the last week
I would like to know how the hell there doing that

ive been playing with the OFC crew since last november..and yea the VAC protection thing is pretty lame.

The guy waits for an hour then, BAM changes weapons and kills you.

I've sinced stopped playing there recently and have joined on the the best HL2DM servers around with the FUNNIEST sounds i've ever heard called RATZ..check em out. and when you're their type @play 88 and @play 29...you'll "lmao" im not kidding.

hl2dm hacks are so easy to make, and vac2 proofing is simple so that makes no odds, most likely cheeeeeeeaties (although i don't fully understand what you're saying happens.)

What you are experiencing is this: The game has spawn protection in place. When a player spawns, they are protected (IN RED) until they take a step. They can rotate their field of view and change weapons but still be protected to be ready to enter play. When you stand there as a target, they come out of protection and kill. No hack needed for this.

Lagarto is correct. They should update that because the newest spawn protection version doesnt allow the spawner to switch weapons. Not sure about the rotating. I think that RATZ server mentioned above is basically ran by OFC as well. OFC guys are bad admins, Im amazed that anyone plays in their servers.
