Crafting issues

so occasionally I get problems with crafting not working- most recently I had a primary slot token, a spy token and scrap metal, hoping to get the ambassador, and it does come up with the blueprint to tell me its ok, but when I hit craft, it just says that it failed because there was no matching blueprint? any ideas what's wrong?
help is always appreciated.

The Ambassador is a secondary weapon for backpack purposes. The Spy has no primary weapon slot, only a secondary, PDA and melee slot. You need a secondary token. Just craft the primary token with a spare kritzkrieg, sandvich, etc.

Also of note: the Scottish Resistance and Chargin' Targe are primary slot weapons with the grenade launcher as a secondary slot.
