Hello everyone!

Do you know the feeling of having too many duplicate items and not knowing what you can craft them into?
In times of a growing number of Team Fortress 2 items, it becomes more and more difficult to keep track of every possible item combination and crafting possibility.
It is possible that you may be able to craft a new item by crafting a few others beforehand, but it is difficult to keep an overview of all blueprints, is it not?

This is where the TF2 Crafting Advisor comes into play.
The TF2 Crafting Advisor is a tool - actually it is a website - which helps you to manage your Team Fortress 2 items by showing you how to utilize them thoroughly.

  • It provides you with an overview of all hats and weapons you can craft independently. If you can't craft any weapon or hat, it will at least show you which weapons you can smelt.

  • All blueprint requirements are checked recursively. This means that if you require items or metal which you do not actually have, it will show you how to craft those with items which are at your disposal.

  • The Crafting Advisor also considers to use (and smelt) only items you have at least twice. You are also able to customize your settings if you would like to include/exclude items with custom names or descriptions, equipped items, and vintage items.

  • After selecting an item you would like to craft, you can add it to a crafting list, which will then show you which further crafting possibilities you have after crafting your already selected item.
After adding a few possible items to craft, you can open your crafting list, where you will be able to see all steps to craft the desired items. This will also show you on which backpack position/page the items are to be found, which is pretty handy while crafting in-game.

  • The Crafting Advisor will also sort your crafting possibilities by your prefered classes.

The website is located at www.tf2crafting.info; you can sign in using your Steam Account (via Steam Community OpenID), or by just entering your profile url.

If you have any feedback, suggestions or questions, post them here or send me an e-mail: contact AT tf2crafting.info

Cheers,
Thomas
