I've just emptied my hard disk and have reinstalled all my programs. Everything is working fine except for Half Life 2 Deathmatch and hl2substance mod (the only mod I have installed so it could be that other mods have the same problem on my pc too) :s I haven't had problems before but now I can't play it any more.
When I click options (in HL2 Deathmatch or hl2substance) or I join a server (in hl2 deathmatch) and the game is sending client info the game stops reacting. Ctrl+Alt+Del doens't work, Alt+Tab doesn't work, nothing does. The only thing that helps is restarting my pc. I don't have any troubles running single player Half Life2 and can look at the options. I've tried removing HL2 deathmatch and reinstalling and updating it but that doesn't work either. My firewall permits all trafic for half life 2 so that can't be the problem either...
I don't think it has something to do with my reinstalling everything but I mention it anyway.
I really hope anyone could help 'cause I don't see any more solutions... And I really want to go on gaming...
