Create server problems

I need some help with creating a server PLEASE!

Let me start by saying that I hosted many games in HL1. I know how to open up my computer to the world (setting it to the DMZ host on my network) and all that. I have the Windows Firewall turned off. No other firewall programs.

But still... in HL2 no one can see my server in the list once it is created???

Is there anything in HL2 that is dramatically different from HL1 that I am not thinking of? I was running Win2000 when hosting games in HL1, and now I'm running XP Pro.

I downloaded and installed the Server Create Mod, and that seems to be working fine.

Just no body can see my server!?

Also... how do you name a server??? There is a new option you get with the Server Create Mod called "Host Name". Is that it?

One last question... can I set up a map list like you could in HL1?

EDIT: Oh wait you want a listen server :|
Put this in the console after you've created your server :
sv_lan 0

And the maplist should be in your game folder (Steamapps/<YOURSTEAMUSERNAME>/<GAME>)
Although you can also just change the map using the console command "changelevel2 MAPNAME".
