How do the dark energy eqautions work and why are they so important I'm curious to know because they seem very important but are barely dicussed in the game.

hey riomhaire so using dark energy could you distort space time so that for a short period two points in space become very close or even overlap is that how the teleport could work?

and finding a way to move in the directions we can't concieve.

Dark energy isn't a weapon, or a bomb, or anything. It's simpl,y the stuff that's making the universe expand at an exponential rate. Chances are, it was mentioned because either it sounds cool (most likely), or to do with the fact that as the universe is expanding you've got to take into account that the area you're beaming into is changing shape, and the Combine can't quite get their quadratic equations to balance, or something.

hey I didn't say it was a bomb but you could use it to destroy the universe, by speeding the rate at which it is expanding the universe thus causing a big rip to happen sooner.Yes it reqiures great knowledge and a mad man who wants to destroy all but there are people who might try it.
