Dead body behaviour

I found it a little bit dissapointing that dead bodies can sometimes fall or be pushed through objects, and that they will fall through each other.
It shouldn't be too hard to fix with a mod though... right? I want to be able to pile my victims.... muahahahaha :devil:
 
There is a command to make them not do that..

Im not to sure what it is though..

Do a search and im sure you can find the command..
 
OMG why isnt this default!? I've played it through now and i thought it was a little lame too, but thanks for the command :D
 
That cmd works for me in CS:S but not HL2.

Edit - I think its not as default for performance purposes.
 
cl_ragdoll_collide does nothing for me in hl2 :/ the bodies still go through each other?
 
On the topic of performance commands,Maniplatable objects kinda fade out when I move away from them,Anyone know a command to turn this off?
 
Just to let you know, the ragdoll collide command only allows bodies to collide with one another. Unfortunately, bodies will still clip through most objects.

Correction it means get a new graphics card.Im currently using a Geforce 4 MX440 so Its not exactly blistering.Gonna get one for Christmas but I was hopeing I could just curcumvent it.
