Death of Youtube?

While I like a lot of Thunderf00ts video's he is prone to hyperbole at times and this is one of thoes times. The blog clearly indicates their goals and it has little to do with "homogenising" youtube:

Youtube has become part of the mainstream Internet experience and like mainstream TV, Radio, Newspapers, ect if they don't limit the amount of sex, drugs and profanity they show they are going to fall out of mainstream.
 
Youtube needs stronger controls over the hoards of talentless 'how to' video narrators and anime music videos. Some kind of testicle crushing vice would do.

Videos with sexually suggestive (but not prohibited) content will be age-restricted, which means they'll be available only to viewers who are 18 or older. What youtube should be doing is removing videos that are just copies of each other. I'm sick of seeing the same video posted ten or more times.
