Demo out on Fileplanet

Notice the file name says it is encrypted.
 
There are 'claims' of people playing the game using the install from Fileplanet.
Maybe they messed up on the .exe, or false claims?
 
****, I'm leaving in 3.5 hrs and this dl will take 5+ at this shit speed.

oh as for those claims...there's a hmm activator patch in the you know where ;).

Are you high?

You pay for a fileplanet sub and you get early access to betas and demos all the time. It's not "pay for the bioshock demo."

Instead of bashing fileplanet, why don't you try it once. You'll see how much stuff they give away and maybe then you'll stop complaining.

Besides if you don't have A.D.D. just wait till tomorrow and download the demo from a torrent site.
 
Fileplanet was pretty sweet when I had it. Then I went to college and became poor and unable to afford nice things.
 
If you didn't notice the game is RELEASED tomorrow. :| I would want a demo before I buy it, you know.

Yeah I'm playing right now, well I was but then I alt tabbed and the game got stuck in 800x600 res in windowed mode. But that link works, the file is the pc demo and it's not time-locked.
 
Someone PM me the activator patch thing ;)

Uh, the torrent's not too good for me for some reason. Plenty of peers and seeds but my d/l speed is terrible.
 
I left it on overnight and it seems to have downloaded in about 3 hours. Dont forget that torrents always start off slow and then pick up speed as you get more and more of the file.


Also, pm activator patch please :D
 
You don't need any patches or activator whatever, the torrent is the demo and it works fine.

I just finished playing the demo, it's very short and that's good because I didn't want to spoil the real game. It's an extremely delicious appetizer.

Not a spoiler, but I know some people can be touchy about this sort of thing:

The video montage at the end is the most awesome commercial I've seen for a video game in a long long long time.

Edit: FRAPS' fps overlay doesn't work for some reason but the game ran for most parts above 60fps on maxed minus DX10 setting. This game has tremendous graphics AND tremendous gameplay.
 
Azureus is giving me the blue health indicator which says the tracker is down :/

Gunner - i have the demo off FilePlanet and want to play it now, the torrent won't finish downloading til later today when i won't be here. Deathmaster indicated there is an activator patch, do you know where this is?
 
Ugh, my torrent has just over 3 hours left at ~100kb/s. Still, can't wait to see how my machine (doesn't) run it!!!
