Developer Commentary

Hey all,

I play Tf2 on the xbox 360. I wanted to check out the Developer Commentary but it said I have to unlock chapters for that :frown:

What chapters?!

Developer commentry is only for Episode 1 and Episode 2 as far as I'm aware (possibly added to Half-life 2 also). You have to unlock chapters as you go along, and with commentary turned on you'll see speech bubbles on the map to click.

Team Fortress 2 is an online FPS, where two teams fight against each other using various classes. This is multiplayer and therefore has no chapters. Only the single player has a storyline and thus unlockable chapters.

So how do i unlock this Developer Commentary?

There is a developer commentary in TF2, in the PC version at least. Although when I tried to listen to it (in offline mode) it told me it needed to be connected to the Steam servers to use the commentary. Later, while messing about on a few maps I ended up in Hydro, the developer commentary started playing but I couldn't leave the spawn room (all the doors were locked).

There's definitely a commentary in the PC version, link in the main menu, with a bunch of maps to choose from. Dunno about the 360 though.

There is developer commentary in the Xbox version, I play the Xbox version.

But the problem is, all of the few maps that offer commentary are locked.

It's something like unlocking the developer commentary for "T-Minus 1" where you have to play that chapter in order to unlock it. But I can't see anyway of unlocking it...
