Did anyone else find that chick annoying?

Well here are my thoughts:

-Imho her emotions were too much, over expressed. Like she is on stage at freaking theater.

-She looks nice, not like slut ala Chick from Unreal II, that’s why I like her as a character. But again, we didn’t even play a game yet, if she always that emotional, my crowbar awaits her head.

That’s were load game comes in, and I can kill her as much and long as I want, then drag her body through the streets and into the water. Throwing her from the roof and watching her neck brake. Setting her on fire, pissing … damn too much of Postal 2.

yeah, i hate those. mostly because the people you're escorting are complete retards and die. but hopefully if they do have any, which i dont see why they would, in HL2, the AI should be smart enough to not die

she just kinda butts in the middle of the conversation, and serves as a distraction. she kept yammering away about her dad, kind of out of nowhere. it was irrelevant.. she couldn't even say what she wanted to straight up, she had to be like "but.. well... um..."
she was trying to hog attention...


when i think about it, they've recreated the female in an extremely realistic way. Kudos.

I like her.. she is normal. she doenst look like a swimsuit model with rocketlauncher. so thats is a good thing.. about her emotions.. they are a bit overexagurated. but I dont mind, and I think you need to save her @ some part in the game. I dont hope its nessesary to keepher alive

That's Funny Greenberetta maybe there is a scripted sequence where after you save her life she undresses and bangs you silly (man I'm over the top). The Funny thing about that chick is that I know a girl that looks a lot like her. Her name is Jessica, though, and If I can I'll try to get a picture on my computer and have a comparison with the Alyx chick in the game.

Here's the problem I don't have one of those digital cameras that you can hook up to your computer. Secondly, I don't have a scanner. Thirdly, I only see her maybe three to fives times a month since she's best friends with my Big Brother's girlfriend. However, I have a friend with a digital camera and he might let me borrow it so I'll see what I can do.

Here's a theory: Jessica the girl that looks like Alyx had her face modeled for Valve (in reality its a one in a million chance). My Big Brother already knows, so both he and I are looking forward to showing Jessica the video whenever we can get around to it.

remember after u kill her to crouch over her body and walk forwards and backwards...

I didn't mind her that much. In certain cases her reactions were a bit over the top, but that was more or less the character itself, not the voice acting. In any case, this is the first game where there's been practically any emotion in a character outside of voice acting, so I don't mind it so much. I'm sure it won't be that bad throughout the whole game...(so I hope). In any case though, I don't mind her; she's not one of those...overly well-endowed types (ala Dead or Alive, or Unreal 2) -- she's just a normal person. Nice change of pace, I think.
