I'm not sure but I remember seeing Slams or Slam Like Devices In Half-Life 2... Single Player...

Was it a Entity... Or a Map Trigger???

Or maybe it was the illegal beta warez?

No, HL2 doesn't have SLAM. HL2DM does.

Because stolen build has all the weapons that normal HL² didnt have

There were Slams in Half Life 2, you couldnt pick them up though, they were placed throughout Nova Prospekt.

They were more like little boxes that sent out a red laser, the model wasn't actually included. They looked the same as the lasers that set off the auto turrets in NP :)

Oh aye he's right but I wouldn't call them SLAMs. Just laser sensory things.

That blow up when you break the beam... Yep, consider them SLAMs. It's the closest comparison.

Slammage.

Well, they wern't -slams- as such. But the hell, they were there.

Even if they were in the game you wouldn't have much chance to use them... it was very rare to have the combine chase after you through doors and junk. You almost never got the chance to block doors with tables...

/me misses the combines cool AI as shown in the ravenholm videos :'(

The hopper things were kind-of slam like. They would detonate if you got too close, and you could use them to turn your enemies into sprays of wet hamburger.

edit: Mmmm, hamburger.

Other than kicking a door, the combine in that video acted pretty much exactly like in HL2. Possibly dumber, even.

There coulda been more door-kicking in the actual game though.
