I heard somehwere that Half Life 1's story was about 30 pages or so and Half Life's 2 story was 119 pages? By the end of Half Life 2 it feels like we are on page 30. Where is the rest of the story?

And as for story: I've said it a thousand times, and I'll say it again: there's PLENTY of story if you look for it and pay attention.

Yeah the script doesn't just contain the story. It contains practically everything. It usually describes movement in dialogue. Stuff like that. Go read a book & you'll understand. Details.
