Have finally given up. I put up with the weird colour effects on some load ups, the graphic card crashes, the bug with Alyx not following me outside to hack the generator, the squaddies who are forever getting in my way, but finally in Our Benefactors- I cant jump over anything - and my last proper game save was some three chapters back - so I cant reload!! And there are no autosaves when you move from one chapter to another!! I just cant be bothered anymore. I'm off to play Far Cry.

wow dude that sucks. I wonder what the problem is. The only trouble i had was about 12 crashes during the whole time i played the game.

Well if far crys your thing go for it, but honestly, i much prefer half life 2 over it.

Also, may i ask, why is your last proper game saves 3 chapters back? you can load up quick saves you know at any time. And yes, thats a bug jumping in our benefactors, i myself have never had that problem, but there are so many people thathave that...well just reload the chapter.

Oh and you can reload chapters to, just click new game, then pick a chapter.
