Disasters in my hometown

Yesterday my hometown was hit by a tornado. I was at my job when my boss who is also a firefighter received a call saying that a tornado was approching. We all got outside to see it, a big cone of debris was moving, just like in the movies. It was the first time in my life that I saw a tornado.

and today an helicopter crashed killing the pilot and the passenger, the pilot was a well know guy in the region and had lot of experience, the passenger was a ctv cameraman. After this last flight around town the pilot was supposed to go on vacantion with his wife.

It's a lot of drama for a small town.

If you had done that at my school, it would have caused a maelstrom of panic.

By chance it was far from where I work, when it began to do huge blue spark we quickly got back inside.

We had a tornado here in Memphis a couple days ago. We get at least 1 a year.

Tornadoes are something I've yet to experience, I've only seen dust devils and Twister. I want to see one, from a safe distance at least.

Also, sometime in january or febuary my boss' house was completely destroyed in a tornado. lol

There was a couple of person injured but no other death. That video was taken by a guy that live across the street from where I work, at the end on the video you can see the blue spark
