Do you feel certain satisfaction when you synchronize your actions with the music you're currently listening to; do you try to do so?

Headbanging and tapping to the rhytm would be among the things I'm talking about, but that's quite common. I'm talking about something more.

For example, when I'm walking and "Only" by NiN starts playing in my headphones, I synchronize my pace to the beat. When I'm on the bus and have my eyes closed, I tend to open them upon certain transitions in the song (like in - off the top of my head - "Dayvan Cowboy" by BoC - the part that starts when the person in the music video falls in the ocean). Today I was listening to "Since We Last Spoke" by RJD2 and the music was fading away when the bus was slowing down, while approaching the bus stop and the second part of the song (if we were to divide it into 3 parts with the fadeouts) started playing right when I set my foot on the pavement. Felt good.

The only thing I really like to do in relation to this is listen to Industrial Rock when running. Other forms of harder rock like Progressive or Heavy Metal just don't kick it when running because it's either too fast for your pace/breathingspeed or too slow and dreary to run with.

I have to listen to something with a bit of a kick to it when I'm on my bike. I'll skip ''Lives'' by Modest Mouse straight away regardless of how much I love it and go straight to ''A Different City'' because it's much more fitting.

That's really about it, though.

I was walking up near the motorway above my hometown a year ago, skiving college early one morning, basically went for a long walk to ponder my thoughts, it was a misty morning, and the sun was just breaking through across the valley of the town below. Had Placebo - In the Cold Light of Morning on, and just watching that scenery while listening just slowed EVERYTHING down, I was like in a trance for the duration of the song, then I realised I was down the other end of the road.

I headbang, tap my feet, drum with my hands.

And I "hump the table" as Qonfused puts it, when I'm standing up jamming with my gear.

Haha yeah I always do that. Once I had 1976 by RJD2 on and I was skating a stair set and right when the song ended I landed my trick, It was so sick.

Exactly what Unfocused does, but I like to time to games, movies, actions, life, sometimes dreams.

I CAN GO, WITH THE FLOW! I CAN SAY IT DOESN'T MAT-oh yeah I can go with the music alright.

:)

Every time I'm walking and listening to New Years End by God is an Astronaut, my stride magically synchs up with the music perfectly. It is glorious.

lol

Funny, I was just talking to a friend today about how I love walking to the beat of a song. I mainly just gently rock to the music, maybe some light "headnodding."

I pretty much can't enjoy music unless SOMETHING I'm doing, even if it's a muscle flex, or even my mouth, is going along with the music. Unless it's beatless ambient type music.

I begin to feel uncomfortable and uneasy when I try to not move at all.

When tidying my room I listen to Battles or other similar things and it always gets me.
