DOD at a LAN

Hey got a LAN going, I have 10 people in my house and 10 in my garage, we want the teams to be able to be set so that house on one team and the garage the other so we can talk, strategize, etc. Whats the easiest way? The game just auto sets the team and makes it a pain. Any way around this?

Well everytime ive created a server, it allowed me to choose which team i want to join.....are u accidentally clicking auto-select maybe. Or maybe your trying to join, lets say axis, when theres 2 allies and 3 axis, maybe since there is more it wont allow u to join allies until another one of your 20 PCs joins allies. Sorry if im not helping but ive never seen it automatically choose a team for u unless ur clicking auto-select.

if you're hosting your own server instead of just using existing ones, whoever is hosting can type "mp_limitteams 20" and "mp_autoteambalance 0"

thanks, limitteams works, gives an error for mp_autoteambalance 0

says unknown, is that the correct way to type it?
