Okay..... this is my door as is:

it works fine, but as you can see, it doesn't fit the frame. how can i either:

1. enlarge the door, so that it fits the frame, or

2. reduce the size of the frame

any help would be appreciated

Is this a joke?

I'm guessing the door is a model so you can't change the size of it.

Click the brush above the door, drag it's bottom handle down so it touches the top of the door.

Click the brush to the right of the door, drag it's handle left until it touches the side of the door.

no, its note a joke. if i click the brush to the top, it will only go down in line with the grid lines, so it lands about a 3rd down the door. i've tried to set the grid spacing to a lower number, but it doesn't work

Well the grid should go more than small enough for it to line up.

or press shift-w to have no grid lock, or press alt at the same time as you move for the same effect.
