Dota 2 Bugs: tower animation and facial animations

Hi,

I played Dota 2 for a long time now and I always thought this is how it is supposed to be. I never watched that much videos, so I never realized one thing until TI4. The towers of the radiance explode very ugly on my version for some reason. On TI4 (And every other video) when the radiance towers explode its debris is also flying around if u know what I mean.
For Dire side it works as it should, but for radiance side the towers just disappear with a explosion effect. It may sound not important, but I want my game to look good, so why is this? I play on max graphics and reinstalled the game.

Also for some days my characters dont have facial animations anymore which is annoying.
 
It might be the problem related to motion graphics. Some more graphics needed to be added. So that the animation wouldn't get faded.

Have you checked your graphics settings? There's an option which disables hero portraits and instead makes them "2D", meaning they won't animate at all.
 
this is a very old thread, I stopped playing Dota 2 long time ago. And my character portraits were always 3D, the facial animations were just bugged, but that fixed itself after some patches. Towers are still the same I think but I stopped playing anyway. (I will probably start playing again some day)
