I worry alot about everything, sometimes I get panic attacks and then I can hardly think I just worry and my mind goes in circles and sometimes you cant breathe properly. I take Disipramine and Effexor as well for depression and other psycho things.. im one ****ed up 15 year old, oh well. Anxiety + Depression go hand in hand in my family and it's so messed up.. because your anxiety tells you your depressed and worries you about it, while the depession makes you want to just sit on your ass all day and worry.

That's rough. But I have to ask, what prompted you to post this information for all of us to see?

I think that if you actually need it and are prescribed it then the effect on you is different. Sorry to hear that you have anxiety problems though man, hopefully it'll clear up eventually for ya.

It's probably just a stage BHC. I knew a kid that used to worry a lot when he was like 10 years old. He's fine now. I would suggest that you find something that you love to do and stick with it. I love to ride motorcycles. It keeps me looking forward to something, it keeps me having fun, and it gives me something to do. Right now I can't wait to go riding again and I can't wait for the new motorcycles to be shipped to USA from Japan. I'm getting a new one in September.

It's funny how Moto x Pat always talks about his bike hobby in every single post. Well anyway Babyheadcrab, only advice I have for you is don't watch the news.

:dozey: Wow, that is crazy... this is like a movie, you might have a sixth sense Babyheadcrab! Your little post makes me want to cry, it captures my heart poor little fella, must be the state you live in.

I was living in Washington state with my brother for a year(long story short, my parents sent me there because I had bad grades, very bad grades), it's always rainy and gray. Nothing to do since it was a small ass town as well. Man I went into some phase, I would get pissed and sad all because I was bored. Youngbucks like us need to have fun! I hope you have fun! Cali- endless fun :naughty: .

It helps to let it all out with people you dont know doesnt it? Remember that us halflife2 netters will always listen. We should set up a halflife2.net irc support channel for severe halflife 2 withdrawal. :D

BHC is a born MC!!! Such a nice voice, some rippin rhymes and his personality!... well, not like that matters in modern pop music :D

Heh, I kid. But seriously music helps. And like pat kinda covered, doing physical stuff can help too. I think you're pretty hyperactive already so just shove on some hard rock and jam out to it. I like to play air guitar and bounce around like an idiot. I call it interpretive dance, although most people would interpret it as extremely silly.

Also, I just went cold turkey on the drugs they were giving me and it's really helping. I noticed a few things which I thought might be side effects when I was on them, and this has confirmed that. Sometimes it helps, but it can **** with you too so don't just start popping pills cause your doctor says you're crazy, that's what they're paid to do :)

END RANT!

Heh, I just watched Bowling for Columbine again and I noticed how much our news is like America's. Maybe not so intense, there are positive stories... but we seem a lean away from murder/typical crime and more towards sexual abuse here. Typically child abuse, people lap that stuff up (not saying it isn't a problem, but I'd like to see how many people were actually inspired to do something about it by seeing it on the news... other than be afraid of it).

:dozey: No, smoke some weed while listening to Canibus, preferably the song titled "Channel Zero" this'll stimulate the mind where it changes it totally!
Become a B-Boy as well, that's an acrobatic workout, you like art? You are creative, invest your time in buying Krylon spray cans and bomb graff on trains, preferably subways. Get some turntables that wont hurt, as mentioned before you're an MC, cool. Just do the stuff I mentioned and now you live hip hop :naughty: .

Damn. Poor you, Babyheadcrab, having to take pills and stuff is a big pain in the ass in my opinion. I hope it's a phase and not some serious matter. :(

That's odd because when I posted the previous comment I was thinking of that Marylin Manson's interview where he talked about the news & media creating fear.

And on a side note, stay away from pot. It could worsen your condition, I have a friend who had a similar problem, and smoking made him paranoid and schizophrenic.

:hmph: Holy crap that's crazy never heard of that... oh yeah sorry for being the dum dum that I am, excuse the weed comment. I almost forgot that marijuana is known to make you depressed as well...

Well it can't be proven that the green stuff made him wacko but he was better off when he wasn't high.

My wife gets those sometimes, I know where you're coming from :-\ ... It sucks because unless I can catch it really quick, there's not much I can do except wait it out with her. She's got a take-as-needed prescription for Clonopin (sp?), but those take an hour or so to kick in, so all they end up doing is knocking her out for the next 12 hours or so.

She's 19, and has had clinical depression on and off since she was 13 or so, but she never really got any decent therapy for it, and she just recently started (within the last year and a half or so), so hopefully she'll be able to grow/get counceled out of it.

Good luck to you...

Yeah, I was eating a bagel once and a water buffalo walked right past my window in a pink sweater. PINK. The nerve.

Shoulda made it your lunch ;)

Bagels are good. Especially with chive cream cheese and lox. mm.... bagels and loxxx............ [/droolingonkeyboard....]

I have a book of old comics and there's this one where these two trucks collide and one was full of bagels and one full of lox and they combine and everyone eats them and it's funny.

Come to think of it, what's lox?

Yeah, the guys in the truck had funny hats so they must have been Jewish. And the guys in the bagel truck were fat... I don't see the connection here. Maybe they like bagels.

Hey..

I don't generally talk about this stuff online as you often get odd responses, but I'll jump in with both feet I guess because I was in your shoes at that age ...so I'll share a bit. I won't go into major details though ;)

I'm a lot older than you (36) but I also suffer from (and am diagnosed with) severe anxiety issues and depression, so I can relate. Mine started when I was very very young, but really cranked into full force when I was 16-17. From then it was a massive up and hill battle, but things have been improving steadily and I've made leaps of progress over the last 10 years or so. And yes, it's pretty genetic and tends to run in families. My family too have a history of mental issues with anxiety and depression especially.

Therapy and meds are your friend (been doing both for 8+ years now..currently only on xanax but have tried more than 20 meds thus far). It can get better if you push yourself and are willing to go through some shitty days. It's not the end of the world even though it sometimes feels like it.

Just keep your chin up and know things can get better given the time and the effort. And especially always remember you're not alone...there are MILLIONS of people who suffer from depression and/or anxiety disorders. Never give up and try anything and everything in search of getting better...it's worth it. :)

Seriously baby, you should find someone or some group that can teach you how meditate. I know it seems like a stupid old martial arts excersise to alot of people but it works wonders for people who are stressed out. I have seen people get out of deep depressions thanks to it, I have seen people who have suffered nervous break downs recover from it (and prevent them from happening again) thanks to it, and I have seen regular people feel much happier and less stressed out thanks to it.

It really does calm the mind down and helps you clear your thoughts and allow you to overcome the problems that you may suffer such as stress and anxiety. Really you should look into it if you havn't already.
