Dune Buggy & Displacements

I have no idea if this has ever been discussed in here before, a search yielded no results. So, I'm mapping for vanilla HL2 right now and I'm attempting to create a track for the buggy to race on. I've created this with displacements, however, the displacements act as a non-solid to the buggy. It just falls right through, while I can walk normally over the displacements. I've tried both collision modes on the prop_vehicle_jeep but to no avail.

Does anybody know whats going on here?
 
yeah this is a bug Valve helpfully introduced in their last SDK update - displacements are non-solid to all physics objects. to fix it, add -novirtualmesh as a BSP parameter when compiling
 
We had this problem I think almost a year ago. This has been fixed a long time ago ? I think you need to update your mod source code to the new SDK. I dunno.. either way, it works here :)
 
Even if you shoot enemies and they go into ragdoll they drop right through : / , i hope -novirtualmesh works :D !
