Also, in the hallway there are three of the six doors for the Door Prize achievement.

Note that the 3 recordings of Cave are talking about the 3 other doors. It seems possible that the teleportation experiment that doesn't work with all skin types *could* be referring to the Borealis, but I don't think we can simply assume that is definitely the case.
