You know that lvl on hl1 on office complex? where you half to avoid touching the water or you would get shocked? well i would really like it if some one could tell me how to do that, With the sparks and if the player touches the water he will get shocked.

you don't need the env_sparks as the beams can be flagged to do this themselves

here are the env_beam parameters you need to make an electric arc like in nova prospekt (place a named info_target where the want the beam to end):

brightness: 100
beam color: 0 128 192
radius: 256
life: 0.2
width: 1
noise: 30
sprite: materials/sprites/lgtning.vmt
texture scroll: 35
fps: 0
strike again time: 1
damage: 0
startentity: name of the env_beam itself, i.e. self-referring
ending entity: name of the info_target
touch type: not tripwire
flags: random strike, startsparks, endsparks
