Hi happy hammer dudes!

I have an problem with my elevator in hammer, i dont know if it is fixable though, but i thought it was worth a try to ask, although i am pretty new with hammer...

Anyway, my problem is that i want my elevator buttons to go to a seperate floor (i got three floors) and for those floors i have 3 buttons, and i want them to go:

1st. button: 1st floor (so if you are on the first floor, the elevator will stay)
2nd. button to the second floor and so on.

If it matters im using tracktrain on the elevator and then i got with path_track enteties.

My english may not be 100% percent perfect so if it is something that you cant understand... ask me.
And, one more thing, i would prefer MSN messenger instead of writing messeges on the forum. If you prefer that to, ask for my mail.

Bye!

You would have to make one track for each floor and way the floor can go to, and use inputs and outputs in a clever way to send the elevator between them.

EDIT: Or even better, use a func_platrot and play around with the settings of that.

hmm... ok thanks. but its the thing that you said to find a clever way to set the inputs and outputs that i need help with, but ill try your other suggestion and se what i can find

Thanks, it did work :D

Unfortinatly, it made another thing a problem. I had a button that made the elevator stop (not necessery, but it makes the elevator more realistic to the real world elevator) is there a way to fix that again? (with func_movelinear)

There should be a stop input to the movelinear, right?

well, i thought that it would be one input like that, but there isnt. :|

Strange.

I'll create a example map and see what I can do.

Ohh, and by the way. i got a opening button for the doors inmy elevator, but i want it to be locked or unuseably when the elevator is moving. How do i fix that?
