Episode 1 questions

While I loved Episode 1 and it by far was the best half life experince since the original, Valve stated that some of our questions would be answered and things would become clearer while bringing up some other things to think of, but i can't help coming away from Episode 1 more lost then the end of half life 2.

What happened to mossman? is she dead?
Why didnt the G-man fight to get you back?
Are the Vorts more powerful then the G-man?
Where the heck did he go after the start of the game?
Did dog make it out of the city?
Is breen truly dead?
(those were all the questions brought up about old characters in the series, many new ones came up as well)
What is this message the combine are sending?
What was the pulse of (pain?) that you and alyx felt around the combine advisor?
Where those pods shooting out at the end all combine advisors?

Questions answered
Did alyx survive the explosion...
thats the only question answered that i really noticed... Thoughts everyone? I loved the game im not saying i didnt, i just felt a little more could be revealed..

Mossman was somewhere, you see her on the video. Then she mentions almost being spotted so she quickly escapes. Then that thing from the EP2 trailer ends the transmission.

It looks like they're holding him back, and maybe more powerful than him. Don't know why he didn't fight back.
As for the rest of your questions I have no answers, but only speculation - just like everyone else at the moment.

yeah I remember seeing Mossman on the video, but are we supposed to believe she escaped that "creature" and then escaped the blast in the end?

Like it was said in the Reviews; there would be alot more questions then answers.

I was shocked when I saw that the G-Man didn't really DO anything to put Freeman back in his power.

So was I, I expected a lot more of a struggle between Freeman to be "free" and G-man to regain control of him and the Vorts inbetween

I didn't see the Vorts being of much use in this. Totally surprised me that one did. I was like "wow" when they were introduced in the opening.

Anyone else notice that when G-man first walks into the room he smiles and is about to speak as if he has a new assignment for you, or it was time for him to actually clear things up, then the vorts have to ruin it lol

I think that's when he leaves you, then is captured. You somehow show up in the same room.

She clearly wasnt in City 17. At least thats what i believe and yes i believe she survived.
