Personally I'm most excited about Portal. I can't wait to play this game. I'm expecting disappointment just because I'm expecting so much, and it probably won't live up to what I hope it's going to be. (contradiction I know, but whatever, you get the idea)

On the otherhand Episode 1 ended well, and Episode 2 looks pretty exciting.

And TF2 I don't care about one way or the other.

Either way, it's gonna be a long wait :(

i feel the same
but i believe portal will have a good fan base with more maps =D

Man, this is harder than I thought. Hmmm, I'm really craving for Portal. Still my heart belongs to Mr. Freeman, not in a gay way. Team Fortress is definitely my last choice, it looks great but I'm not into multiplayer stuff. Still, for the sake of our previous relationship:

1)Episode 2
2)Portal
2) Team Fortress

Hard for me to choose between Portal and TF2. I'm very exited about portal, I LOVE the concept, and it's valve; it's gonna be great. But I'm also looking into TF2 to replace css.

I voted portal though.

Well, I am very excited about portal, maybe more so than Ep2, but if I was given the choice to only get one game, I'd most likely choose HL2 : EP2, so I vote for Episode two.

haha, I know I said I don't care one way or the other, but as long as TF2 is better than CS:Source, I'll be happy.

The intensity of my feverish anticipation of Episode 2 cannot be denied.
Yet, I have an extraordinary expectation on potral, for some reason.

Come to think of it, I want portal mainly because I'm curious about it's storyline, to see how it's related to Half Life. So yes, certainly first choice is EpTwo. BTW, is there any information about the lenght of Portal? Same as EpTwo? Probably shorter.

I seem to recall "5 hours of gameplay" being thrown around in relation to portal, I don't know if this is the actual case or not.

I wouldn't disagree with those figures, they sound about right

on one of the screens from portal theres a huge white panel saying 6/19. So I guess you use 3 hours to solve 19 puzzles.

All but if i had to pick.

Episode 2 Half Life Content
Portal
TFC2

Good thing i dont tho...

Like our fellow Koreans would say...

POTAL POTAL POTAL POTAL ^_^;;;;

Episode 2! Story continuation for the win.

I'm still rather buzzed about TF2 and Portal mind.

Since we don't know how long does it takes to solve a puzzle, it could take 13 hours too. We also don't know if those number represent the whole rooms in the game or not. Maybe every level has different rooms and 19 is the number of puzzles/rooms in that level.

Team Fortress 2 actually. Because if its really as fun as it looks, I might be playing that for a long time to come.

Ep2 FTW! Although portal and Tf2 still own :)

1)Episode 2
2)Portal
2) Team Fortress

Portal because it's more original. But not far ahead of EP2.

Episode 2 definately, mainly because I really cannot wait to see what happens next in the story, the cliff-hanger at the end and the teaser trailer after that really got me hyped about EP2, so that goes far in front. Portal looks class though, finally a game that fully requires you to use your mind to get around the problems. I aint bothered about TF2 really, doesn't look like my type of multiplayer game.

Portal, definitely. The concept of limitless movement through confined space really interests me. The "twist" at the end that has been mentioned has me very intrigued as well.

Episode 2 is a very close second, I can't wait to see how the story develops.

Team Fortress? Never Heard of it... :)

I am torn between Ep1 and Portal. But because I don't think we will find out what Portal has to do with the HL storyline until Ep3 -->

For that reason, I vote Ep2 because it furthers the Complex Story Arc

I was split between Portal and EP2. TF2 is out of the race though.

I dont understand all the hype portals getting...But my vote is of course EPISODE 1 with TF2 and portal nowhere close. New open ended gameplay in a forest filed with striders, hunters and zombies :D :D :D

I dunno, maybe its just that I've been waiting too long for Ep.2 that Portal somehow made it to my #1 list.

Im playing Portal first then HL2 E2, and i dont really like TF2 so i wont buy it but if it comes with the other games and its added to the overall cost i guess i will give it a try.

Episode 2 - I'm really interested in how the story will unfold.

Portal first – it's a completely novel concept. Then Ep2, partially for story, partially for graphics. TF sounds like it might be interesting, but the other two are pretty much sure things.

Portal, then Episode 2. Because of the website for Portal and the realisation that i much prefered city street-to-street fighting and puzzle-solving to the wilderness....

TF2!

If it's great it'll provide many years of gaming bliss.

I wonder how E2's "Tree System" works.

There's no specific system, like they said in one of the vids they just have x amount of tree models which are then spread across the maps to make it look like a forest.

You can rotate a tree you know...if it's crooked which most trees are, it doesn't look the same from all directions.

I wonder if those trees will require more system resources. I would hate to see lower fps than ep1.

Depends on size of textures and the actual polycount. Technically showing the same tree a billion times doesn't take much memory at all if the trees are instanced.
