Episode One: help with OFFLINE PLAY

Hi guys....I'm new here and was wondering if any of you pros can answer a question. First off, haven't played HL2 in quite awhile but I remember I was able to play offline. It required (if memory serves) that I enable my ISP connection but I'm not really sure. I have loaded the game with no problems and launched it .....and currently played it for a few minutes but I want to play OFFLINE. Can someone tell me what I need to do? Thanks in advance!!

I disabled my wifi and was able to run Episode One. Are you sure you can't play the game offline?

you have to unplug the cable from your computer or disable wireless

Thanks you guys! Your all awesome and I'm an idiot! Its the same as was for HL2. I just tried before the final download had finished. Once the game had started (online) I exited out and disabled my cable and it works fine. Besides having no brain...I have no patience. So I'll go away in shame not to bother you all again......you guys ROCK!!!
