Episode Two Crash

It's the crash in 'This Vortal Coil' in tunnel after running away from big green antlion. It just exits to desktop and say hl2 stop working. Is there any way to fix this thing, anything to download? Thanks

Do you get any particular error message? Could be a corrupt file. Best thing is to verify your game files. Open Steam, right-click on the game and go to properties, local files and click verify integrity of game cache.

Thanks for the help, but I did it other way thanks to information found on net. Everyone who have this problem do this: After you run away from antilon and fall down in a tunnel (where crash happens), first shoot the net with shotgun and walk backwards, turn right so you are looking at the right wall, then crouch and walk left that way (looking at the wall all the time until you pass the point).
