Oh no a name change yeah thats right boys and gilrs traps is gone our new name is espionage:source dont get worried everything is the same just the name is different.

Our current team consists of:


1 Mappers(rdoroana)
1 Modeller(bruno)
1 Coder(Crackhead)
1 Concept Artist (armanguy)
1 Webmaster (rdoroana)

We're looking for team members so check the positions that we currently need if you're interested.If you would like to learn up to date information about the mod please visit our web-page http://traps.ahl2mod.net


Player Modeler Required:

Must have experience with any 3d program (i.e 3dsmax,maya,softimage ) and be able to work on a regular basis. Presentation of example work is a necessity.

Gun Modeler Required:

Must have experience with any 3d program (i.e 3dsmax,maya,softimage ) and be able to work on a regular basis. Presentation of example work is a necessity.currently we need lowpoly models for the guns you much be able to texture or unwrap your model for the texture artist.

Coder Required:

Must have experience with the Source engine code and be able to work on a regular basis. Presentation of example work is useful but not an absolute necessity.although are lead coder (crackhead) is very talented life interfere in everyones work even mines we would like a coder to help crackhead out with the coding.

Sound Technician Required:

Enthusiastic and innovative sound designer needed for traps mod.

A sucessfull applicant should have:

- Strong abilities in editing and sequencing software
- Past experience in sound design.
- Able to record custom sounds
- Music production is a bonus, but not required.
- Must be able to make dramatic backround music.

Mapper Required:


-Must have experience with VALVe's Hammer editor
-Must be able to create believable maps.with very detailed enviroments.
-Being able to code a plus
-Has previous work done and finished no wips will be accepted.
-Must have experience with the Source engine and be able to work on a regular basis

Prop designer (i.e making tree's and foilage and costum props for the mod )

Well thats all the positions that need to be filled at the moment please if you do want to help post some work, or you can pm me or rdoroana. If i missed somthing that you can do please mention it but for now this is all we need.

Bit of advice: Lose the "Source" extension. Just calling your mod "Espionage" will make it sound a lot sturdier.

Well a little update on everything so you guys dont think were not doing anything.

I was in california for awhile for my grandmothers funeral so i couldent really get anything done. but i did get some crazy concepts done on the plane. and i have been workin really hard to get everythink done on the hud before school starts again im lmost done and is probably our final stage but will be implemented furtheron and not right away.

our player modeler is done the first player model and i shall release the player model with some concepts and map screens.

our first map is coming along but has shifted in direction. instead of being in the forest it is in the urban setting but as soon as we get some tree models we will start doing the jungle map but our focus is on the current map.

and in our coding we havent really givin crackhead anything to do and hes growing impatiant asyou can see in his sig but he will get something to do soon hopefully /

so has rodeanorenorena or whatever his name is actualy got off his lazy behind and done some mapping or is he still using the "i cant map if we dont have any custom props finished" excuse.
 
he started work on the new map last thursday.:thumbs:
