Yeah, everything on this computer randomly crashes. Firefox, BF2, world of warcfart and even mine sweeper.

The onlything I can think of why this would be happening is that I moved my computer to a different outlet, one with out a 3 prong, so I used an adapter. Really not the best idea I imagine, but it was only for a few days.

Any ideas?

yeah, you're having bad power

either your psu can't handle the new plug, the plug has bad power, or your psu just died.

lol.. You said world of warcfart

Anyways, take it in to get checked if it's crashing that much.

Ok, I think its my psu because I have another compter conected in a similar fasion.

Another question, this will be the second time this year I have had to replace the psu, is there something that could cause it trouble, maybe the actual cord or something?

you could check the cord, even though that's not very likely the problem

try moving the pc to connect to another outlet, and if possible, to someone elses house.

what are your specs including your psu?

Your PSU may or may not be bad. Maybe it isn't handling it as efficently and is having issues without a ground. That is sorta important for computers ya know...to have a ground plug.

Well I changed the power cord and I have yet to have a problem. Odd...

Hit the PSU. That worked for me.

Ah, ze dreaded minesweeper.

Quite the resource hog.

If the problems persist, the only other thing I could think of is bad ram.

If it's minesweeper, it's definately the integrated 184 pin motherboard attachment. They usually have that problem.

If you're not having problems, and it's due to the cable...woah. First time I've heard that one.
