Expansion Packs

If HL2 follows the trend of most games today, there will no doubt be an expansion pack. I have yet to beat the game (just finished Ravenholm) but from cruising the boards it seems a lot of people are upset with the story (or lack thereof). So far, I am a little confused as to what is exactly going on, not much has been explained about city 17, the resistance, the combine etc etc. maybe that will come.

my whole point is, maybe the point of HL2 was to leave you wondering, makign your own opinions. And then maybe, the expansion pack will explain a lot. Maybe you'll see it through the eyes of alyx or something. . .or maybe it will be another OpFor and you;ll see it through the combine. That would probably explain a lot more.
