Face Poser - Last Extraction Result: an error occured during exctraction.

I tried HL2 World's tutorial, but i'm stuck at the sound bit. Whenever I redo extraction, i get this error:

Last Extraction Result: an error occured during exctraction.

Need help, any ideas?

Get the microsoft speech SDK.

And put the wav file in the folder that they specify.

They didn't specify any folder, unfortunately. And thanks for the help, I'm getting the SDK now... then i'll see if it works.

Sorry to double post, but no, it didnt help. Could you please be more specific on what folder i put the wav files in?

I had the same problem, microsoft speech SDK need to be installed and the the wav file you are working on MUST be encoded to 44khz 16 bit stereo (use sound recorder and just do a " save as") when it wasn't my version of face poser just crashed.

As far as I know this is a common error. As long as your files are

PCM format
Stereo

then that is correct. The error seems to be just a coding fault. the results you get with most extractions are pretty poor anyway so you're best off building them yourself.
