No. Demo grenade launcher grenades only explode instantly on players, has delayed explode when not hitting anyone, can fire grenades in small windowed spaces to cause more damage in indoor-like areas.

Soldier grenade launcher grenades explode on impact, no matter what. Grenade rounds fly much, much faster and farther. Not so good firing through windowed areas, as the grenade rounds will just explode on the ceiling and not fall down where the enemy would be.
