What's your favorite gameplay demo? Mine is #5, cause it's the longest and there are striders and hunters. (<3 striders and hunters)

All of them.

But I can tell that the "going solo" parts of the antlion caves might be very annoying...

Forgot which one, but whatever one Dog is going against the strider. If they do that fight like I hope, that's going to be one of the most memorable moments for me in Ep2.

I can't remeber what number this one is but it's the one where you play catch with a grenade with the combine and then drive away. Most people haven't mentioned this one but I really like the way it shows the new system of NPCs interacting with your vehicle realisticly. This feature of Episode 2 is not given justice by the gameplay demos but they go fairly in depth with it in that 3 part interview (which is a much watch btw). I'm too lazy to give a link right now but maybe later. Then Demo 5 then Demo 1.

It's the 3rd demo you're talking about. The fast zombies on the top of the train reminds me of when you first leave the Ravenholm mines, but you don't have a vehicle then.

I don't want to spoil the game, so I've only watched a bit of 5.

All of them are cool, because every single shows a different aspect of the EP2 gameplay.

Either the one where the playtester is driving though the train-yard and gets attacked by the fast zombie and the hunter-chopper or the one where he's fighting the hunter-chopper on foot. I like hunter-choppers :)

The best demo-video has to be the one where you are hunted by the...err...hunter. I don't know which one that was, but it was BRILLIANT! That new hunter enemy sure is going to cause some intense gameplay.....you are being HUNTED!!!!

...And to think I was going to make a thread just like this...

Although, how did I not see this one? Anyway, the third video was my favorite. The way the player handled himself didn't really come off as noobish, unlike the other vids, however that could just be my opinion. If I was in Gordon's situation where the chopper descended upon his location, I would've just took to cover so it wouldn't be able to get a shot at me at all, although I guess the reason why the player didn't was because they wanted to provide that feeling of cinematic suspense. That part was really the closest thing to "noobish."

The grenade exchange with the Combine soldier in the attic was, for lack of a better word, interesting. The high-speed pursuit was bad-ass. And, at the end, the zombie jumping on the buggy and opening its mouth to let out a blood-curdling scream was just plain awshenz. All of it going so well with the music.

They sync up the music perfectly in the videos.
Look when the player snipes that first guy in the last (long) demo.
Hard rock starts the moment he (or she) yells out!
And when the second hunter crashes through that wooden barrier.

I like #5 the best.

I think I'm the only one who isn't a fan of the Fast Zombie jumping on the Car, I just don't think it is very scary. Although I suppose they don't have to be scary all the time.

Edit: Just remembered something that crossed my mind when I last watched #5, I want to try being inside that building when the Strider attacks and see what the effect is like from the inside.

I think you may find it scary while you're trying to drive at 50MPH while avoiding a hunter-chopper and one jumps on you!
