60s paved the way for rock as we see it today, and had many awsome bands and musicians, but also the current time, for Muse and Radiohead.

Definately the 90s. Summarized in a single tune ... N-Trance - Set You Free

Epic. Forever epic.

I have little familiarity with the 50s and 70s.

I hate the 80s because of all the "hard-rock" bullshit and electro-pop trash.

The 90s had some awesome moments that I grew up with.

The 00s take the win because I've listened to some decent stuff this decade. A close second would be the 1800s and late 1900s when all the famous classical piano composers were alive.

2000's/Current

A little bit of the 90's too. I just like the kind of music that couldn't have existed without modernity.

Now/the last 10 or 15 years, give or take.

the 80's ..some early new wave was good but the majority of the pop stuff from that era was putrid (boy george, kajagoogoo, wham etc) ..what the 80's did have was everything from metal to ska to electronic to punk to alternative, hell even jazz fusion (herbie hancock etc) ..overall it has the most diverse sound of any of the decades listed

Nicely put! Well, except for the part about some of the pop stuff. New Wave might be the best thing to happen to music since Dylan plugged in!!*

(*Just kidding, but I love so much New Wave music that it makes me euphoric just thinking about it!)

ya I like it too, but I grew up during the era ..I was into punk/ska/metal ..natural born hatred of all things Spandau Ballet, Dead or Alive, Erasure or the Pet Shop Boys and most mainstream new wave at the time but have grown fond of it over the years, more for nostalgia

The 90's.

Tool, NIN, Radiohead, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, good Green Day, it was awesome.

The 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s all have their gems, but the 80s stands out for me. Pop music was actually worth listening to then.

In my opinion you can't get any better music than that released this decade.

Cheesy 90's eurodance, my god!

Not that it's good music, it just makes me really nostalgic.

I'd say either 60's or 80's. Hard for me to pick really.

2000/current
I love electronics, which makes modern techno kick arse

80's/90's mostly for No Wave/Shoegazing/Electronic
2000's for electronic music of which the spectrum of sound grew

Obviously not a whole lot would consider some of those movements as the memorable parts of the 80's and 90's, but for me they're all that matter. There are still a few good No Wave and Shoegazing artists that pop up these days like "Magik Markers" and "The Great Depression." Oh, and I voted for 2000's/current.
