Seems interesting, never heard of it before which is weird as i usually keep up with the Final Fantasy games as i love em to bits, glad im getting my psp in a week or two then

No, the mobile phony games were named Before Crisis: Final Fantasy 7 and released on NTT DoCoMo's FOMA 900i line of phones on a monthly subscription basis. In their pre-E3 2k6 conference, Square-Enix also announced that there'd be English versions off Before Crisis, released in the US sometimes during 2k6..
I really hope they port ALL of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII to the US(And perhaps EU).
