Find the church in raven-holm

If your at the place were Farther G tells you to "seek the church" then jump in the window of the building he was on and keep going from there.

Yes, I've seen this... I think you need to turn 180 degrees around, jump over a gap onto another platform, climb a ladder (I think there are some headcrabs there), go over some planks, then jump to the next roof. But, that's only possible if you already used the handle in the building to your left. That will trigger a crate (or something) for you to jump on when you're up there, and from there, jump on the roof, after which fast zombies will come and attack you.

Hmm i have looked all over town, and can't still find that damn church that the guy at raven-holm told me(whatever his name is). :/, any other hints that may lead me there, any screenshots?

EDIT : But because I'm such a nice git, I did it anyway.

Don't bother with the next fan machine you see, it will
break. But be ready if you do, a Piggy Back Zombie will
come lumbering out of the shadows after you. Deal with
him first, then worry about the Normal Zombies. After
they are killed, head down the alley where you can see
two Explosive Barrels. Climb the stairs back there and
up into a control tower. Throw the switch to send a
platform out into the street. You'll need that in a
moment, trust me.

After throwing the switch, turn to your right and leap
off the balcony. Continue forward and immediately make
another right. Watch for Zombies. Quickly climb the
stack of boxes in the alley and get ready - A leaper
and TWO Piggy Back Zombies will attack you. The Piggy
Backers from behind and below you, and the Leaper
from dead ahead. Shotgun the Leaper, and then take out
the Black Leapers as they are thrown at you. Then
Turn so that the roof is on your left side, and then
jump the gap ahead of you.

Continue to follow the planks around the central building
Don't bother trying to jump over to the items yet, you'll
just fall! You can get to them in just a moment.

Circle around the plank bridge, grab the shotguns and
medkits, and then continue along the bridge. Now do
you see why you needed that platform? Eh? Eh?
You can trust me.

o.k, just run up the ramp and to the right, if u pressed the lever b4 hand there will be a box to jump on 2 jump across, if not its in the warehouse 2 your left, keep going to the end of those houses be prepared theres about 7 fast zombies, on your right gregori will appear(i think) go to your right anyways and go up through the house, the next section has a poison zombie, go through his domain and in the corner is another house go through it up and then your on the roof gregori will be behind a fence, lots of fast zombies come up the pipes, gregori will send u a basket, sort of, get in it pull the lever and your in the church with ammo and stuff. thats it, about.

Hehe i found it, the only thing why i could'nt get any further was because i was unable to find the switch in the house. Then after like 30 minutes i found it out on the balkony(or however it spells).

So now i have gotten paste that bit, thank you all for your help.

It was a Russian Orthodox Church complete with minaret. It is quite recognisable if you turn around. It has a crucifix atop the minaret. Notice Gregory has a somewhat mashed russian accent ?

I thought you didn't actually have to reach the church, because you couldn't reach it, i guess i overlooked the church and just walked by it.
