Funny bug in Hl2 -> Alyx fell thru teleport

I were goofing around in the first lvl in Hl2 and I had lots of apps open in the background when i was playing and Hl2 was bit choppy when playing... When i reached the teleport room and alyx stepped into the teleport she did drop thru it when i was looking to another direction... I just hear some "dead" noise... Alyx get stuck and got killed? Now, im stuck... I gotta replay this level. Barney and kleiner wont do anything. They just stand there.

I dont think so because I have legal version which came with my graphics card... You know, the ATI coupon...

those warez version are rubbish anyway. my friend got jeulous because i had the game and he didnt so he went and bought a warez version of the game and it lagged\like hell. he couldnt connect to steam so he cant play online. and there were many more gliches.

It happened to me, too, once. But that was on, like, the third play through, and i was cheating and stuff. I noclipped on top of her and she died

hah, I JUST had a quite weird Alyx bug myself. i also had to replay the beginning of the level. you know, the first time where you get to setup turrets in entanglement. the loading just before that, for undisclosed reasons alyx would spawn in front of me as soon as i hit the loading point, and then of course she would stay stuck behind the cage and not come down the vent.

I had binded "phys_timescale 0.01" to button "x" so i maybe had accidentially pressed it... That explains that the all doors and elevators opened _slowly_ and maybe that caused alyx to fell thru the teleport because it was so bumpy ride... (you know, all the elevators go bumpy when they move slowly, HL2 bug..) Heehee... You could make cool "slomo" mod when you bind "phys_timescale 1" to "z" and "phys_timescale 0.01" to "x" so you could slow down when you want to

My friend said that in Entanglement one Alyx followed him when she shouldn't have, and he got to the bit where she falls out of the Vent, she did, and there were two Alyx's not doing anything. Just staring at him.

It happened to me,but I didn't take a screenshot,she is just standing there while combines shoot her to death,then she was back inside the teleport in the lab. :angel:

It's realy good but it interfeers with other mods, unless you follow some instructions in the FAQ
