Lol: G-Man has been discussed too much, but one question popped into my mind:

When HL2 begins, in the waiting hall of train station, theres a guy sitting on a bench and he says:
"i saw they took your suitcase too".

:O G-man is teh only with suitcase, so gman = gordon

:naughty:

Nah.. But how do you explain this? Where did gordon get the suitcase from?

Maybe the guy was just an idiot and didn't realize that Gordon never actually had a suitcase...even though he was the same guy that was on the train with you at the start...hmmmmm...
HMMMMMM....
HUMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

The guy says that to Gordon as his suitcase was taken from him. Later on you see him get beaten for trying to retrieve it from the trolley of suitcases near the turnstile. I think Gordon was put straight on the train from the "void" between dimensions and thats why the other guy says that he doesn't remember seeing him get on.

I don't believe that G-man is Gordon as in the first one he was seen by many different people like Barney and Adrian, then in the second one he is seen talking to another guy by Gordon when you look through the scope on the coast road towards the Rebel base.

Though I can add to the myth by pointing out that the G-man has shaving cuts on his face at the start of HL2 and that could mean that he is Gordon from the future and he shaves his goatee off when he visits back in time to help Gordon and others out so that the "time continium" is maintained.

The G-Man just put Gordon on the train. That's why Gordon first sees the G-Man talk and the next thing he knows, he's on the train - and a guy in it says "Hey, I didn't see you get on" in a mildly surprised voice.

The Combine are simply being bad to everyone, which is why they take suitcases from many (most?) people at the train station. Of course, when you're seen without the suitcase, that guy assumes that yours was also taken - it's a more natural assumption than to assume you just got teleported here by a maniac in a blue suit.
