ok,i was thinking while i was playing half life 2,and i think maybe the G-man isnt human at all,or even alive,or invisible to MOSTLY anyone,and it may be true if you just think about it
in the original half life,you see the G-man in various areas that people would consider a deathtrap.walking across a bridge into a room filled with a hiding scientist and some headcrabs,into a corpse filled cafeteria with maybe zombies or headcrabs,watching in a tiny room with an injured security gaurd while a gargantuas below you,its as if he were invisible to all the enemies,and itd take alot to stand in those places and keep a cool,emotionless attitude.
in half life 2 you see the G-man watching you from various areas where the combines chasing you,and they dont even notice or harm him.like the first G-man sighting on barneys security computers,he passes by unnoticed and unharmed.you even see him leaving ravenholm,and no one would want to enter ravenholm at all unless they have a large squad of commandos with shotguns and .357 magnums.
and of course theres the 7-hour war to think about.the combine invaded earth and killed all military personel on the planet,which would have to include the government,and if theres no governmant,there arent any agents for it,so the G-man wouldnt still be alive by now.
its just my theory about him possibly not be alive,not human or only visible to a few people.what do you think?
