hi

i´m trying to port my hl1 model to hl2 and i stuck at the bone controllers.

it always says unknown g_bonecontroller link 'BIP 01 Spine'

how to fix this?

i searched at google but i couldn´t find anything

im guessing the new half life skeleton rig is different and has different bone names to the old one. u need to delete your original skeleton and do create rig from guide as it is on xsi. the asign the bones to the mesh. why exactly are you porting a character from a half life mod into hl2?

haha yeah i suppose. well yeah are you using the new skeleton rig for hl2 or just trying to put the model straight in? remember you'll need to convert the texture into a vtf or what ever i always forget what its called
