game makes girl shake with joy =D

'Kopaska was playing the game called "True Crime: New York City." '

Well if any idiotic misinterpretation of the facts on gaming could have any positive effect it would be that crap games like this cause seizures.

Anyway, good thing she is alright. I remember I used to be kind of scared that I might have been prone to this, I actually learned about it years ago while I was bored and looking through an old Nintendo game manual. It was one of the small print things near the beginning I think.

Sounds as if she was a borderline epileptic or something.

jack thompson:"good another case more haha"

jack "lolz she is teh badx0rz in teh head, i shoot dis info back at gullible public, JACK FTW"

general public "fux off n00b"

i think he has lost most his credibility by now, just thought id throw the article out there

Yup.
My lil brother is/was epileptic (hasn't had a seizure for a couple years now).
I think there was only one time when he actually had one while playing vidya games...the rest of the time it was pretty random.
Yep.

...good to know I'm not wired that way. I've been on a couple of 10+ hour game-a-thons and, not including dry irritated eyes from staring at the screen, came out unscathed.

I usually come out of those looking like a drag queen.

When I read the thread title, I thought a girl had held a PS2 dual-shock 2 controller too close to her....

Doesn't it say that games are prone to cause seizures and should be played in a well-lit room with breaks every half hour or so ? It used to say so on most older games I have with fairly big text on a page of it's own, but now manuals are so screwed I can't tell front from back on them anymore, filled with so much useless info.

"Certain people are prone to it because of the way their brains work."

Well spotted you ****ing morons.

It's one break of 15 minutes for ever hour you play. If you ever had epileptic seizures before, you should consult your doctor before playing it. Always play in a well-lit room. If you are tired, do not play. If your eyes start to hurt, stop playing immediately.

Those sentences have been stomped into my brain by reading too much of those manuals :p
