game music soundtrack for HL possible?

In HL and HL Opposing Force, there are sometimes moments where music can be heard. I want the game music soundtrack (music album featuring music from the game) to include that techno music you hear when you first put on your HEV suit in HL and the PCV(?) suit you put on in Opposing Force. Do think a game music soundtrack for HL is possible even for the upcoming HL2 if there is any music?

Already been confirmed. If you watch any of the HL2 videos, especially the new E3 2004 ones you will hear it. I think the music/sound effects will be much better this time

Actually, All the HL1 music is playable from the game CD, so I guess you could say it doubles as a soundtrack. I presume Half-Life 2 will be the same way.

oh my god! believe or not, I placed the game cd-rom into my portable cd player and it's actually playing music from the game!

I've seen a couple of the HL2 videos. It's what made me hyped about HL2 in the first place.

Heh.. that techno music was so out of place.

If you have the Steam version installed all of the music is right there on your hard drive. Halflife1 and Halflife2 tracks are the best. Good action music.

i'm playing the HL steam version right now. I've already beated easy mode and now im playing the game through medium difficulty mode.

lol, yeah, good idea, maybe there should be music in HL2, Yahn.

I think the music in HL2 should be even cooler, because it's supposed to morph dynamically depending on what's going on in the game.

that drum and bass track that plays during the magnetic crane part is just ill, i'll bump it at parties for sure once the game is out
